For anyone who still is keeping up with this case, Richard Roby did his time and has been released from the Bureau of Prisons. Paul Ashley is eligible for halfway house in Jan 2008.

Interesting to read all this. As a wife (soon to be ex-wife) of one of the people involved in these attacks, I think they made some serious mistakes, seriously underestimated the law and the repercussions it would have on them individually. It's sad that a handful of the individuals were young guys, who now have to rebound from this and try to make good on their lives. Ashley and Echouafni are ultimately responsible, and Echouafni isn't even in the country, and can't be brought from Morocco because the US does not have extradition with Morocco. So he's a free man in Morocco, probably laughing that some of these guys are already seeing prison sentences. If justice were to fully be served, Echouafni would be brought back to the US, and tried for his crimes in the US.

Poulsen, you do realize you can contact Ashley while he's in prison, correct?
