Overdue debtors beware: You may not be able to rely on Caller I.D. to screen out those annoying bill collectors much longer. A California entrepreneur has a plan to bring the hacker technique of Caller I.D. spoofing to the business world, beginning with collection agencies and private investigators.

I think theyre lieing. Id put money on it that theyre using a VoIP pbx. Theres alot of money to be made in this if theyre charging a 25 cent connection fee on top of a rate that is almost triple what i pay per minute on VoIP. It would be more interesting if they allowed you to spoof your Caller Id Name as well...
