Obviously later than expected even government realizes that there is no such thing as absolute security an that technology contributes towards making life even more complex
in relation to keeping an acceptalbe security-level to stay clear of the bad bad rest of the world :-)
It's no secret that information is way harder to protect than any "matter" based wealth production factor - just look at the socalled "financial markets". And meshing information storage like networks do raises the bar of
applying the right measures of protection.
