I love Takedown, the soundtrack and interesting camera effects made it a good film. Everyone should see it! I would have liked it more if it were entirely based on his real events but I would say about 90% is true. Anyone who has researched him enough would know what was true and what was made-up.
For instance, the awesome second program he decrypts that can penetrate back-bone infrastructures was made-up. He, in reality, retrieved, of course, the NokiTel code he was looking for and the second program he took was a secret Berekely Packet Sniffer made for the U.S. military.
Again, I wish it were based entirely on true events but 90% or so isn't bad.
Plus, the made-up second program in the movie was way cooler than a packet sniffer! : >
