Warspammer guilty under new federal law
Kevin Poulsen, SecurityFocus 2004-09-29

wifi is about as secure as a bank vault door made out of rice paper. Until they fix the inherent problems with wireless "encryption" if you can call it that, and other various holes big enough to drive a truck through it will be a joke for any type of production use, and merely another tool to be used and abused by any joe schmoe with enough time on his hands to drive around finding hot spots. Make all the nice little federal laws you want and put 100000 people in jail. Still doesnt solve the problem. Idiots who design "the next big thing" with NO common sense or foresight are the problem.
