Shifting cyber threats menace factory floors
Kevin Poulsen, SecurityFocus 2004-10-07

The factory floor of a modern paper manufacturing plant is a ballet of heavy machinery and razor-sharp blades, pressing, dying, rolling, unrolling and cutting dead tree pulp by the ton. To James Cupps, it's something else, too: a target rich environment for cyber attacks.

I worry about drug companies who produce prescriptions for the world. but I am sure they have proper mechnisms for checking batches of prescription drugs produced via automation if in fact they use these types of systems right? of course, it would be very costly otherwise. I certianlly hope medicines DO NOT become poisoned due to technicall (incompetence) or most likely carelessness. But im sure they've solved that 30 years ago right?
