If there is nothing to hide - then an Internet 'license' does not bother me in the slightest.
The Internet has changed. The world has changed. Things are different. I don't need history lessons, I need better access and less hassle [spam, phishing, too many patches from shoddy software engineering, etc.].
I don't think anyone is advocating a 'blank check' to the government. I think the issue is to make it all right. Make it work and make it safe.
