U.S. Air Traffic Control Found Vulnerable

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has agreed to examine computer security at air traffic control centers around the country, following a government audit that found the systems insufficiently secured against cyber attacks.

I always thought that availability was a key area of ensuring proper level of security on an application. How can you be secure if you are not available. I think they need to hire some real security types to come in a review their system. In the meantime you might want to think twice about taking a flight in the continental U.S.A.

PS. This looks like Windows, smells like Windows - IT MUST BE WINDOWS !!!!
