Here's an idea... How about the government comes up with it's own Firewall/OS and don't release it to the public... don't cha think that, that's a little bit more secure than using things that already have massive security holes and the entire world knows about them the second they are discovered?

Maybe have a seperate security auditing department that just sits and reviews log files every day looking for intrusions, create more jobs in the US! But knowing bush they'll probably just give some 3rd world country remote VPN Access and pay some dumbarses $1 a day to look through stuff they don't understand anyways.
