I can't help but wonder, did the people who called to harass him use their real phone number, or spoof their caller id?
To me, that's the main problem -- what's the stop people from using this service for harassing or threatening? I know hackers that use this technique for all kinds of activties, and it seems like giving this kind of potential to ordinary criminals would be a very bad idea.
