Hackers sued for tinkering with Xbox games

In the first case of its kind, a California video game maker is suing an entire community of software tinkerers for reverse engineering and modifying Xbox games that they legally purchased.

You are full of it. All of the cases you site are cases of resale and distribution. If I make nude volleyballers and do several different things, sell the new program, distribute the hack for sale, display the hacked program for sale, use it to perform illegal activities, etc it might be illegal. ...
