Family and colleagues of a Venezuelan security expert known for defacing Web sites under the name "Rafa" have launched a campaign to highlight the one-time vandal's more benevolent acts.

You must not know many "real hackers." The majority of them are hormonal teen morons who go to defcon and get caught trying to rip payphones out of the wall (cf. cowhead)....
