Veterans Affairs warns of massive privacy breach

The U.S. government warned on Monday that a database containing sensitive information about veterans and their families had been stolen, after an employee violated policy and brought the data home.

As a disabled, former CPA with multiple degrees I strongly recommend the idea of a password to accompany Social Securty numbers would be the most resonable remedy to guard against identity theft arising from the theft of pesonal numbers....
