MySpace teams to create sex-offender database

Social networking site MySpace announced on Tuesday that the company has paired up with ID verification firm Sentinel Tech Holding to build a national database of convicted sex offenders, a technology the service hopes will enable it to keep predators out of its community.

I think the email solution won't work. I mean, it's a start and protecting children is definately a priority. But I am sure that there are tons of perverted men on myspace and not even a fraction of them have been convicted. So to prevent a convicted sex offender from using myspace is a smart thi...
