DirecTV dragnet snares innocent techies

In recent months the satellite TV giant has filed nearly 9,000 federal lawsuits against people who've purchased signal piracy devices. But some of those devices have legitimate uses, and innocent computer geeks are getting caught in the crackdown.

I too have been caught up in the DTV sueing machine. You are guilty until proven innocent in DTV's eyes. I did buy an unlooper, however, I'm a software eng. and had legitimate use for it. I WAS a DTV subscriber (DishNetwork now, diff. company) and have tried to prove my innocence. It fell on deaf ea...
