Repeat after me... "t0rn is not a whitehat", ask the regulars of IRCnet and check defacement mirror sites... It's also debatable whether he wrote all the code in t0rnkit. I suspect the police were just trying to pin him down on something, so that they could grab his machines and get substantial evid...
