U.S. regulators on Wednesday ruled tentatively in favor of an FBI and Justice Department proposal that would compel Internet broadband and VoIP providers to open their networks up to easy surveillance by law enforcement agencies.

until this administration is voted out of office and who ever is voted in appoints someone into the attorny generals position that belives in a citizens right to privacy, we can only expect much much more of this sort of paranoia.
