I'm an american, and a *very* patriotic one at that. I just want to make it clear that, while I don't agree with what the FBI did in this matter, I do understand why they did it. I don't want this kind of thing to go on, b/c even if you're not a citizen of the US, I personally believe that civil rights to extend to you. There would be exceptions, such as fundamentally radical terrorists, but a hacker that steal some cc numbers really doesn't give me a profound sense of worry. If some dick shuts down a power station, and people die, I'd support their murder, but just stealing credit information doesn't show a real threat towards other peoples' well-being.

Concerning this particular matter, I think the FBI should apologize to the Russian Bureau, and let these guys go. Keeping their investigations clean in the future would disallow this kind of matter happening again.

I am an American. That doesn't mean I'm better than you as a person, whether you're Chinese, are black, or don't speak English. However, when it comes down to national pride and belief in one's country, I believe I reside in the best in the World. I hope you feel the same way about your home.
