I use the passwords:
"aaa"
"password"
"secret"
my username on the system or sometimes I really fool them by using my first name...
I'm just wondering where the line is between bogus certs and real ones?
Do I have to make sure my certs are certified with a certifying body certified to certify certs?
Is CISSP the security cert, what about Security+ from CompTIA?
If I have an MCSE does that mean I can fix power supplies in machines that run Microsoft Windows 2000?
It is about time someone said what needs to be said... If you have a lot of money to throw at certifications and time to do courses that does NOT make you a better security professional than someone who lives it, breaths it and really has a genuine interest in IT security and not blind career advancement!
Hopefully soon there will be certs in making up catchy acronyms and in proper buzzword usage that will become popular instead and the security certification bubble will go the way of the .COM bubble...
