Skylarov was present in the Court Room and available to testify but the prosecution was allowed to play his (edited) video taped testimony instead thus denying the defence an opportunity to cross-examine?

Wouldn't that be a clear violation of the 6th Ammendment?

"the accused shall enjoy the right ..... to be confronted with the witnesses against him"

I guess it's academic now since the jury aquited. Restores some faith in the justice system... despite all the machniations of the government even they can't get around 12 honest citizens with a fair sense of justice.
