What Tim is pointing out is something I have noticed for a LONG time. It seems some "security experts"; namely Linux buffs, are trying desperately to find something with W2K/XP to complain about and blow out of proportion... but that's OK - because anyone who admins a Windows box knows this is pure silliness and just laugh's at it.

The problem isn't the misinformed, uneducated steam blowers out there, its the Windows MANAGERS who read this crap then run to their Windows support staff and say "I just heard about this HUGE Windows vulnerability - take care of it immediately, no matter what the man hours or cost!".
