Mount is NOT a Unix term for drive mapping!
You are confusing windows network access with Unix physical access through the kernel. NO amount of windows encryption or mystical voodoo will secure a drive on a machine that has been booted to linux or unix.
You may be able to keep them out via ipsec, as long as your virus defiitions are up to date with the latest remote admin trojan VBS scripts. IPsec will not do any good when the infected server istelf calls thier machine and begs them to attack.
Anyone who thinks that ANY OS is 100% secure is living in a fantasy land! Nothing, no Firewalls, no encryption, no IDS is infallible. Having a single source of failure should be grounds for criminal negligence.
Betting your data on the security awareness of a benevolant caring corporation like Microsoft, is sheer folly.
But it IS your data. Maybe the crackers will be satisfied with your site and leave my alone.
