Crypto is ubiquitous now, used routinely by law abiding citizens. Criminalizing it's use under any circumstances is wrong. Of course criminals attempt to conceal crime.
Perhaps wearing a mask during a robbery should carry an additional 5 year penalty. Being in possession of feet used to flee or opposable thumbs should become criminal, when used in the commission of an offence, of course.
