The First Amendment, even if it did apply in this case, only protects against GOVERNMENT censorship. This is no different than citizens tearing down hateful messages posted around a neighborhood.
Nice link on Akamai, also! Is the author's position that Akamai is required by the First Amendment to provide services to Al Jazeera, even if they would probably lose U.S. business?
