Best of luck to you and I have truly enjoyed and benefited from your thoughts. But one things puzzles me. It seems you have been waiting for a revolution in security. I don't believe that is ever going to happen given human nature, regardless of what is right and best. I tend to see computing in terms of evolution. Products, processes and tools all will mature in time. Many security failures are due to poor administration practices, not just poor programming. But you know that already. I suspect your real complaint is the slow pace of change.
