I think everyone needs to relax a little.

This technology will not be widely adopted. Consumers who want to share media will carry on doing so in the same ways. If MIAA and friends think this will solve their piracy 'problems' they're deluding themselves. Small businesses would find this a completely impractical way of controlling data (aside from certain Hampshire based control-freak managers, who would doubtless love it). As for larger organizations, there are much more realistic ways of doing this sort of thing - PKI and good old fashioned security policy.

Just my usual rambling opinion.
