Shiftless third-party prep courses have made MCSE certification less valuable. Is Microsoft's new security cert doomed to the same fate?

Wrong attitude about security, but typical of Microsoft's outlook

This forum is or should be for security professionals to discuss security issues, or at the very least for IT professionals who are concerned aboutr security. If your main goal around here is to engage in verbal tirades against UNIX/Linux that are at best questionable in content or harass Linux posters, then you should take your business elsewhere: I get more out of Penguinisto than out of you.
You might keep in mind that IBM is running an extremely successful consulting business with Linux, that both www.google.com, www.amazon.com and probably www.ebay.com are running their sites on Linux-based clusters, before you continue recklessly badmouthing Linux. In fact, www.amazon.com's switchover to Linux was probably a key factor in pushing them clearly into the black. I am not saying that every migration to Linux is successful, and I take no responsibility for poorly planned migrations. I expect that the City of Munich's migration to Linux will be successful, because IBM is going to make sure of that come hell or high water.
If you are pro-Microsoft, that is your business and your choice. It is no business of mine that you are pro-Microsoft and what you are willing to bet your bread and butter and your career on are strictly your decision to make, and I am not interested in affecting it. Usually, my employers or clients have already decided which way to go, and I go along with the flow - I am not interested in getting into either religious wars or spitting contests with those who pay me for my time. I just don't care about the choices you or anyone else makes, and that is probably why I appear to be neutral.
The fact is: I am not neutral, but I have my own reasons for that and I am betting my own bread and butter and career on my choices. The economic consequences associated with making the wrong choices should be punishment enough for anyone.
