Your reply to the article is at once alarming in its ignorance, and dangerous in its lack of foresight.
Your mentioning of what the chips can perform today, says absolutely nothing about their future capabilities. After all, the patent came about in 1973. I'm sure the chip couldn't do much of anything and was quite large. Now look at them, .5 mm, able to transmit 4 or 5 feet. Great, so in your ignorance, you're trying to tell us that the capabilities of the chip won't increase?
I don't know if it's because you live in the UK, or maybe because you have a CISSP, but your ignorance and stupidity is far greater than mere mortals could hope for.
