But then again - I wouldn't want that much lost freedom and identity. So, first they put the technolgy in place for innocent purposes - as they have for traffic monitoring. Now they have a way to tell who was where and when.
Maybe it's not logged right now. Give it time - it will be.
Well, we know how to track someone.... why not use it to track know DUI offener's if they enter a bar and exit several hours later?
Well, we use it to track people for criminal activity, let's do it for people who owe the court systems money.
And so on...
To paraphase Ben Franklin.; 'anyone who trades safety for liberty loses them both.'
Why does this technology have to be microscopic? Why does it have to be permanently embedded in the clothing and other items we purchase? I really prefer to be able to tear the tags off my mattress if I wish. this technology doesn't allow or permit it. There are many items that have been outlawed because they just are not practical for anything other than nefarious purposes. This is borderline in my opinion. The use of it should require a license, a warning, and an opt out mechanism.
