My past work on "Big 5" attestation engagements taught me how much work and care it takes to avoid the pain experienced by publicly making statements like Guess and hundreds of other online companies presently make. These "statements" I have seen on the web are full of risk because they aren't crafted by Information Security Professionals.

If the FTC had the manpower and resources to apply to a blanket investigation, there would be a thousand other "guesses" as to who would make headlines next.

My hats off to your article and the wakeup call imposed by the FTC. On-on...!!
