I don't understand. But I think piracy could have been fought by means of computer espionage, i.e., unsuspectingly monitoring data the computer receives. Usually, lawsuits are filed only if the "pirated" works are sold. If artists want to have piracy be dealt with, then I think that it should be the uploaders who should be held responsible because he/she allowed anyone to view that copyrighted content. The downloaders, I believe, are just victims of deceit. So I don't think they should be penalised for doing such.
