Being an Indian student under training, it's a relevation to what you people think about the current exodus of IT jobs from U.S to other developing countries.
As an insider I would like to point out that, things are changing here too. Rising attrition costs and bloated salaries are a common fixture now. So much so that, it's now turn of countries like Phillipines to take over the baton. I don't know much about economic theories but isn't it logical that there will be a time point when the labour costs in all countries will stabilize? It's still a long way ahead I know, cause we are talking about all the countries getting fully developed by then, but still worth a thought?
I totally empathize with your countrymen and their concern on losing jobs to cheap labour cost countries, but I refuse to belive that we can't reach a common ground where both the off-sourcing and labour providing country benefit mutually by coming to some sort of an arrangement. Cheers to that.
