.. Nah, you're not doing anything wrong, except expecting everyone else to eagerly enact the same measures that you've come to adopt. Sure, the columnist whines a lot about the potential of losing very easily saved time and effort, but what I think he's really mad about is that these flaws are here to be exploited in the first place. Three serious flaws that are exploitable in a manner that we've seen innundate networks across the globe a month before, due to another flaw? Please. The point is Microsoft security has a perforated history, and if most of the civilized world keeps buying Windows and extending the reach of that company's monopoly, why should Microsoft even bother trying to write less-buggy software?
