also consider this. These bugs - in Internet Explorere and Outlook, I'm told - are add on software packages that most people don't use. But, since Microsoft is "legally" allowed to hook these programs into the OS so Netscape and Eudora go out of business, we are all at risk.

It's one thing to leave you doors of your house unlock at night. It's different when the gov't says the builder has the right to leave a window open for anyone to access.
