Citing a provision of the Patriot Act, the FBI is sending letters to journalists telling them to secretly prepare to turn over their notes, e-mails and sources to the bureau. Should we throw out the First Amendment to nail a hacker?

I've heard and read on many occasions people saying we should just shutup and stop complaining about our government. They say that as if we're only complaining.. I like to believe that everyone who speaks out against wrongful acts of government are actually making a difference you know? A single post in a small forum could sway alot of people, who will in turn convince many others. But then these people counter with, "making a difference in what? america is perfect!" haha. they are humorous people. The point im trying to make is that these people who defend everything the government says are just blind followers and would do anything and everything our president says. gee, kinda like nazi soldiers thinking its OK to massively murder almost an entire race because their leader said so...
So whoever thinks we shouldnt be making a big deal out of this reporter-Lamo stuff, then you are very naive. because i hope you realize, they WONT stop here.
