Too Many Hacks
Hal Flynn, 2003-10-15

The open-source community should abandon its piecemeal approach to securing Linux-- and soon.

"But even if what u r sayin its sound, at least I wont get hacked by a 15 yr old kiddie but by a very skilled hacker. And thats not the case with windoze which 100 hacks p/day happen by 15yr olds."

And where are you getting your figures from? Most linux distros have way more services running by default than windows, which are (and i am sorry to burst your oh so perfect linux bubble here..) flawed.

"Linux is by far the most secure system and is gettin better every day. See the statistic results and researches."

Look at bugtraq my friend, tell me how many linux or linux orientated flaws there are listed. Secure? I think not. The entire security model was flawed from day 1.

"And dont talk to me about OpenBSD and the such... because a system that is not used, except maybe by a few(10? 20? 30? hahaha)it is ofcourse less likely to be hacked."

How old are you? Like 14?

"The stories about trusted computin shove it .. u know where. So where exactly r your arguments that linux's design is wrong? Man i cant believe that people like u have the ability and position to affect many people's opionion. Go to school again and dont express so radical unfounded opinions unless u want to look like a donkey ... your dad seems to be wise man after all."

I agree with him, the linux design is wrong and needs improvement. I think somebody needs to read up on operating system and security model design 101.

I think you need to stop expressing your "radical unfounded opinions" you kid. go read up before you post this nonsense.
