Consider maintaining an up-to-date record of each client's audit of all hardware and software currently in use in their shop.

You can benefit as a businessperson by developing a relationship and keeping in touch. The benefits to your clients are obvious.

Take the "long view" rather than the typical "take the money and run" service philosophy that's so prevalent today in American business.

It's not rocket science. It's what genuinely successful business people have known for centuries. Unfortunately, our culture no longer celebrates success beyond the present quarter's financial results.
