Of course focusing on MS because it's the biggest makes sense. However Granneman goes well beyond that. When he says things like:

"Because like or not, Windows ain't going away for a while. Probably not ever, totally (calm down, Linux and Mac OS X users - I'm on your side, but let's be realistic here)."

it's rather obvious what the intent of this article was.

You can spin the vulnerabilities all you want but the fact remains that if Joe average started to use Linux he would need to download and install more patches than he did with MS. The problem isn't going to go away just because they swithed to *nix.
