Microsoft deserves praise for offering a cash reward to catch people who criminally exploit their bugs.

I've been following your articles for a while, and what I clearly understand is the following:
Either youre paid damn well to jump "eyes wide shut" style into the IT world, shooting harsh airheaded statements, or youre really stupid (the "...security consulting services for a variety of companies, including Microsoft Corporation." kinda explains it).
I wouldn't dare to mention Microsoft, security and my name at the same sentanse!
Imagine if someone right now discovers a remote exploitable vulnerability in IIS for example, forgets to notify microsoft for the vulnerability, and writes a worm. In metter of hours so many hosts will go down, that until the MCSE "professionals" figure what to do, most of them will be without a job. The only thing that saved microsoft this time was the report of this vuln. They hopefully fixed it from the 4th time, but only time will show.
The article you wrote is useless. Get a grip, then a life while youre at it. Write about something original, something the readers will benefit from. We know microsoft's dirty tricks!
I would sugest geting a vacation to reflect on some basic rules of computer security in 21st century.
Best regards,
Alex
