I believe I can speak for the actual adult portion of the population when I say that you're a 13-year old hiding behind "Anonymous", who is scared of getting caught with a ripped copy of 'doze ;)

It would be hard to manipulate it for malicious intent if the patches coem from MS itself, unless MS itself is penetrated and the patch compromised. Now, if you're getting the patch from the same place you got your cracked copy of 'doze, then you deserve whatever you get.

As for MS munging up code, well, that was discussed, if you read the whole comment... but such a condition would happen anyway, so it's a wash and a strawman argument.

...but I guess you were too busy recoiling in horror to the thought of having to go out and actually buy your OS, ne?
