I too am a network security director for several networks and am sick and tired of patching Internet Explorer on a regular basis. It seems as every day has had something to do with IE security vulerabilites and core code flaws.
I have just solidified my decision in converting all worksations, on all networks that I maintain, to Mozilla products.
My question is this: Has anybody figured out how to remove IE from XP, 2000 Operating Systems? I used to remove it completely from 98 OSR2 each time It was installed for Netscape replacement.
I would love to get my hands on documentation on how to safely remove IE from workstations on XP and 2000.
Thanks again for your excellent article.
Dennis
