Each machine has both Opera and Firefox installed. I advise everyone to use either of them, with preference for Opera.
It was a universal case of "Oh, okay." They switched without any complaints whatsoever. Several students have even asked about doing the same for their home machines.
Throughout this time, the network has had zero virus infections and porn is an extreme rarity.
