When Spyware Crosses the Line
Kelly Martin, 2004-06-23

"Spyware" isn't harmless software when it starts hijacking your browser, downloading updates, and displaying adult porn images to small children.

I have to agree with what he said, I visit one of my favorite flash sites in the world, nothing odd happens but when I get back on the next day I get my IE browser Hijacked to a cell phone company, then 13 other pop ups come along with it. Though my favorite flash site was not the actual people who did it, it was their hosts, they called them up and said "Give us our payment check (They did not pay for a month) or else we remove you" They did not comply so the removed the melicous code and left a message to them saying "You lose" The next day when they update their site they see that the hosts code was still in there. The thing that I though made this a virus/worm whatever you want to call it (I define it as a virus) was the fact that is was impossible to remove nothing could delete it not even all the methods that was mentioned in the document did not work, and though they are diabled they are still running through my computer, but it did show up on a spyware remover. But when I scanned with an anti-virus becuase the spyware remover could not do it, it defined it as a virus (Troj . A qby is what it was called) still it would not go away, I am not able to go after companies yet for doing such things, but when I get much older I will and I will take them down.
