Well, apple reckon they've shipped about 10 million OS-X (http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2004/jan/06macosx.html ), and the linux counter thing estimates about 18million linux users in the world ( http://counter.li.org/ ).

I guess you're probably right that it's the 'most shipped *nix', but that doesn't make it the most popular...
