What a bunch of whiners you people are. My car was 10 yrs old and failing so I just traded it in and got a new one, cost me over $20,000 but it was necessary. Your OS is over 10 yrs old, it costs $200 for a new one but it's necessary. Your company makes tens of thousands of dollars off the work performed on that PC every year, the $200 OS isn't going to hurt your bottom line that badly....especially for a once every 6 yrs upgrade. Why live in the past and support ancient software, are we trying to impede progress? Microsoft spent about a billion dollars on SP2, do you want them to spend a few billion porting it to older OSs and just build all that R&D cost into the other MS products you buy? How about tacking an extra $50 on Office and charging you $20 more for Flight Sim?
