Why should I force a change to my IT enviroment if I have maintain my vigilance in keeping my machines as "safe" as possible. These machines offer the needed functionality to keep production chugging along. With a perimiter firewall in place with egress/ingress rules in place, I dont have any worries besides constance watch. With a proper policy and network configuration, remote access and laptops do not infect or bother the infrastructure.
If people cannot be bothered to do their homework, then I dont see why empahsis should be placed on the products they choose. They did CHOOSE/PLAN to use in their infrastructure. Take responsibility in what you use.
