If your nation does that, then that's your problem. Not to be crass, but that's the reality of it.

I don't agree with this type of law, and criticism of it is valid, but the comments that are associated with it are totally hypocritical.

Judging from your phrasing, I'd say you're from GB. And you're making comments about being free? From the land where you can no longer legally physically defend yourself from criminals. Yeah, it's better where you are. Right.

At least in the US I can, for now, protect myself and my property from burglers. Seems to me that you need to clean your own government up before you start making disparging comments.

Like I said, critism of the law is valid, trying to put down the entire country is just completely hypocritical.
