Infected In Twenty Minutes
Scott Granneman, 2004-08-19

What normally happens within twenty minutes? That's how long your average unprotected PC running Windows XP, fresh out of the box, will last once it's connected to the Internet.

Twenty minutes? I loaded Win2K out of the box with broadband connection over here in Sweden and it was slammed within 1 minute!

Solution...I bought a Mac. Even with the firewall off and receiving loads of infected Spam emails from an old email account doesn't seem to affect it! BTW, I have not received one spam mail thru my 2 year old .Mac email account!

Use to think Mac users were arrogant. Now I think they are just plain smarter. Think different!
