Bill Gates is right about one thing: asking people to use a two-factor form of authentication would go a long way toward alleviating a lot of the password problems that plague computer security today.

Another problem is the mom and pop store ATM, where a dishonest storekeeper can just use a hacked ATM to retrieve the info.
As has been pointed out already, you can't call up CitiBank and get your thumbprint changed.
