Bill Gates is right about one thing: asking people to use a two-factor form of authentication would go a long way toward alleviating a lot of the password problems that plague computer security today.

Even if the scanners won't work with stolen parts, (and that's a big if...) I've met people who'd keep stealing bits in the hope that sooner or later they'd get one that worked.
There is no way in hell I'll ever use anything requiring iris identification.
